Source: The Record, Stockton, Calif.self storageJan. 05--STOCKTON -- The city is accepting applications for positions on several boards and commissions, with a deadline of 5 p.m. on Jan. 31 to file paperwork.Positions are available on the Central Parking District Advisory Board, the Stockton Measure A Citizens' Oversight Committee and the Stockton Port Commission.Four positions are available on the seven-member parking board, which makes recommendations on rules, rates, regulations and development plans in the Central Parking District. Members must own real estate or be the executive officer of a corporation that owns real estate in the district. Meetings are held six times a year. Terms are four years with a limit of two terms.The Measure A committee is迷你倉looking to fill all seven positions. Mayor Anthony Silva and the other six councilmembers each will nominate one member with nominations to be approved by the full council. The Measure A committee will oversee the sales tax approved by voters Nov. 5. Meeting dates and times have not been determined.There is one opening on the Port Commission, which meets twice a month. Members must have lived in the Port District for at least one year.All of the positions are unpaid.
