每逢假期，迷利倉很多人都喜歡外出旅行。不過，大家對於英語 Travel 的運用還是不大熟悉。我們說 She has travelled through Europe 與 She has travelled Europe一樣。「我想環遊世界」 是I want to travel around/travel the world，「我要是有很多錢，我就去旅行」是If I had a lot of money, I would travel。其他例子：Peter travelled to Germany to learn about their educational system是「彼得到德國旅遊去學習該國的教育制度」，When he finished university, h自存倉 went travelling for six months是「他大學畢業後在外旅行了六個月」。Last month, she had to travel to Japan on business是「上月她需要出差去了日本」，它也是名詞。例子：Susan told us all about her travels是「蘇珊把她旅遊所見告訴我們」，We met a lot of interesting people on our travels是「我們在旅行期間遇見很多有趣的人」。注意：我們不說 A travel，也不說 Many travels。Lawrence Choi(Monday to Friday)香港能仁書院副校長(行政)culchoi@yahoo.com.hk迷你倉
