It was something the former Jupiter Police detective was more than familiar with after four years of investigating crimes, including residential burglaries. When she walked into the home and saw her bedroom television in the living room, she called police. In the end, with Wodraska's help, Jupiter Police were able to capture the three suspected burglars after a chase on Interstate 95, and returned all the stolen property."Her actions were vital to us being able to locate this vehicle and make the arrest," Jupiter Police spokesman Sgt. Scott Pascarella said. "It was instrumental in us making this arrest."The mother of two and wife of Jupiter Town Council Member Todd Wodraska said it wasn't entirely easy, as she was shaking and upset while calling police. Somehow she still managed to find time to save dinner and throw the meat she bought from Costco into her refrigerator. The day didn't go as well for the three suspected burglars: Brianna M. Oberly, 20, of Pembroke Pines, her boyfriend Eric. S. Mitchell, 19, of Fort Lauderdale and Oscar E. Palma, 18, of Hollywood.Jupiter Police spotted the Ford traveling west on Indiantown Road near Island Way. An officer tried pulling the driver over and the driver -- later identified as Oberly -- did stop on the entrance ramp to southbound Interstate 95. However when the officer got out of the patrol car, Oberly drove onto the highway.Oberly 迷你倉最平as speeding and was changing lanes erratically. Finally an officerentered the highway at Donald Ross Road, ahead of the pursuit, and deployed stop sticks, which flattened the car's tires. The Ford came to a stop just north of Hood Road, police said. Mitchell and Palma tried fleeing but were stopped, and Oberly called out that she was pregnant, and tried crawling out of the driver's seat and into the passenger's seat.Police spoke with Oberly, who admitted to being the getaway driver. Mitchell told police he acted as the lookout and received any property that Palma removed from the home. He told his girlfriend to stay homebecause she's pregnant, but she decided to come anyway, he said. Palma admitted that each person had their own part in the burglary and that he felt sorry for the victims, according to a probable-cause affidavit.Wodraska was given a photo lineup and said she wasn't 100 percent sure, but thought the picture of Oberly most closely resembled the woman she saw in the driver's seat of the car in her driveway. Police found that the Ford was rented and the car company gave them permission to search it. Inside the car was a $5,000 Rolex watch, an iPad, an iPod and a glass jar of about $250 in coins, some of which were given to Wodraska's children by their grandfather. In all, including some cash stolen off the coffee table, about $6,850 was stolen from the Wodraska's home, police say."I would like to give praise to the police," Wodraska said. "I think it all just worked out so perfectly that it was just awesome."Twitter: @alexseltzerCopyright: ___ (c)2013 The Palm Beach Post (West Palm Beach, Fla.)
