Huawei Technologies, ZTE and Lenovo have all been trying to step up their products’ specifications to move up the value chain.Lei said Xiaomi would not try to upgrade its products just to enter the high-end market, because, he said, he believed a phone’s function was more important than the firm’s brand.“I don’t care whether my products belong to the high end. I’m more interested in what my phone can do well.
