Pearson, 21. He was cited for careless driving-unintentional death, careless driving-serious bodily injury and for a left turn violation.Police accuse Pearson of failing to yield the right of way to a motorcycle when the Chevrolet Lumina he was driving collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on West Lake Road at West Sixth Street shortly after 10 p.m. on June 26.The <<>> of the motorcycle, Dale S. Kunselman, 55, of Lake City, was pronounced dead at UPMC Hamot after the crash. A passenger on the motorcycle, Jeanne Edwards, 51, of Lake City, was seriously injured.A passenger in Pearson's car was also injured, police said.Erie County District Attorney Jack Daneri said Tuesday that his office's review of reconstruction reports, interviews with witnesses and other evidence at the scene of the crash indicated that Pearson failed to yield the right of wa存倉, believing that he could cut across the westbound lane before the motorcycle entered the intersection."That was a mistake of judgment on his part. The mistake of judgment, however, does not rise to the level of recklessness required to sustain the filing of more serious charges," Daneri said.Daneri said Monday that a decision would be made in the next couple of weeks on charges in a July 3 pedestrian accident in which Bryon Long, 27, was killed when he was hit by a van that drifted off Peach Street near Kuntz Road.The <<>> of the van, John M. Peterson, of Waterford, was not hurt.Millcreek police are still investigating a July 18 crash in which Brian W. Trimble, 44, of North East, was killed when he was hit by a Chevrolet Cobalt while he walked along the east berm of Route 8. The <<>> of the Chevrolet, Eileen M.
